For an apprenticeship as a dental technician, you should have at least a qualified secondary school diploma, Realschule is recommended.

Normally, the training period is 3 years, but can be shortened with good grades or high school diploma. In addition to the practical training, there is regular vocational school (currently twice a week). Here you will also learn all the theoretical basics of the profession.

After the 2nd year of training, you will take an intermediate exam that shows you your level of knowledge.

The written and practical final examination at the end of the training is taken before the LZK (Landeszahnärztekammer). An education that is fun.
