Intra-oral scan

Accurate documentation of the current condition of your teeth is essential for precise treatment planning. Our practice uses a non-contact intraoral scanner for digital impressions. This replaces the uncomfortable procedure with impression material.

  • Much more comfortable impression situation without material and bulky impression tray.
  • High-precision image of the oral situation for optimum detail and accuracy of fit of the treatment unit.
  • We can check the quality of the scan directly on the screen and correct it if necessary. Errors and inaccuracies, as they are possible with the normal impression, are avoided.

Digital X-ray

Since 2014, we have been performing all X-rays digitally. This means for you:

3D printing

We print your denture models

To create the denture models for 3D printing, we start by using an intraoral scanner to digitally capture the patient anatomy. The scan data is then converted into a 3D print file using special software, and 3D printing of the model can begin. These printed models serve as the basis for the fabrication of aligners, retainers, splints and transfer splints.

  • No more unpleasant impressions with impression compound required.
  • Models can be reprinted as many times as you like, no extra appointments are needed.
